Congratulations to All BRAVO Award Winners
BRAVO Awards Ceremony Held on Thursday, February 7thThe BRAVO Awards ceremony took place Thursday, February 7th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the William and Jane Bristol Civic Auditorium inside Bellflower City Hall (located at 16600 Civic Center Drive in Bellflower).
Award-winning actor Beau Bridges served as Keynote Speaker to help recognize many individuals from the L.A. County Fire and Sheriff’s Departments as well as community heroes who performed outstanding acts of valor, heroism and service in support of public safety in Bellflower during the past year. Two student essay winners from Bellflower and Mayfair High Schools were also awarded for their winning essays.
Marc Brown served as Master of Ceremonies and is currently the co-anchor of the ABC 7 Eyewitness News at 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. He is a graduate of USC where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science.
He has won four Emmy Awards, a Golden Mike Award, an Associated Press Award and a Radio and Television News Directors Association Award for Excellence in TV News Reporting. In addition, he sits on the USC’s Board of Counselors for the Annenberg School of Communications.
