The Bellflower Boulevard Car Show welcomes all entries… vintage, antique and old classic cars… hot rods, roadsters and muscle cars… low riders, T-buckets and chop tops. Hundreds of these custom vehicles and dream cars rumble into town on Saturday, June 3rd, and will be on display from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. A crowd of more than 5,000 car enthusiasts is expected. Admission and parking are free for non-exhibitors, but there is a $10 fee to show a car, truck or motorcycle (no pre-registration). Dash plaques will be provided for all entries and trophies will be awarded for outstanding vehicles in 16 categories. Judging will be conducted by the Sultans Car Club, the City’s Parks and Recreation Commission and the Bellflower City Council. Beginning at noon, show cars may enter the Pacific Avenue staging area from eastbound Alondra Boulevard and will be directed to their parking spots beginning at 2:30 p.m. You will not be allowed to reserve spots or save spots, so if you want to park with friends, you will need to get in line together. The event also includes DJs and live music, food vendor booths, games for kids, and an after-show dance featuring Ronnie and the Classics in the Town Center Civic Plaza beginning at 9:00 p.m. Carry-in coolers and alcohol will not be allowed. Bikes are not allowed in the car show area, but free and secure bike parking will be provided on Flower Street at Bellflower Boulevard. For show and vendor information, call Parks and Recreation at (562) 804-1424 ext. 2268.
