Enjoy the Last Food, Flicks & Fun Friday August 18th

Final movie night event at the Town Center Plaza this Friday

Bellflower’s summer special events, Streetfest and Food, Flicks and Fun, continue to offer free family fun throughout August.

The popular Streetfest concert series entices residents to bring out their lawn chairs and enjoy live music in the warm summer nights. The final Streetfest band to perform is Stone Soul, a feel-good motown band, which will wrap up the 2017 concert series on Thursday, August 10th.

Streetfest features live music, food vendors, craft and business vendors, and free activities with the Bellflower Recreation in Motion (B.R.I.M.) program. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. and run until 9:30 p.m. Food is available for purchase and alcohol and/or pets will not be allowed.

The final two Food, Flicks and Fun events at the Town Center Plaza will show Dory on Friday, August 4th and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on Friday, August 18th. In addition to movies, a variety of food vendors and trucks will be on site for food purchase beginning at 6:30 p.m. At dusk, the movie will begin (approximately 8:30 p.m.) Movie goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and no alcohol and/or pets will be allowed.
There will be pre-movie activities and entertainment such as band performances, cos-play movie characters, raffles, and more.
