Thank you for considering the use of a City of Bellflower recreation facility for your gathering. While Los Angeles County Public Health has provided guidelines for hosting indoor and outdoor events, many of the protocols require an extraordinary degree of oversight for the city and for the event organizer. After a thorough review of the protocols and with much consideration for how to best ensure that all protocols are being adhered to, the city has decided that it is best to hold off on permitting use of recreation facilities by the general public indefinitely. When state and county health protocols loosen further and protocols are at a stable/manageable level, the city will reevaluate its capacity to resume facility rentals.
Current Public Health guidelines allow for informal outdoor gatherings of up to 50 individuals for two hours or less. In line with these guidelines, the outdoor picnic grounds at all city parks are currently open for first come, first served use. Please note there may be limited or no access to restrooms during your visit.
