The City of Bellflower is offering emergency housing assistance payments on behalf of eligible Bellflower residents that have been negatively impacted economically by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Bellflower residents can apply for a maximum of $800 per month for up to three months of rent, mortgage, or utility assistance. All payments will be made directly to the landlord, property management company, mortgage lender or utility company for current or past due payments.
Must be a renter or homeowner residing in the City of Bellflower.
Must be the applicant’s primary residence.
Must have been negatively impacted economically during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income, as defined by HUD (see income limits below).
Currently do not receive any other forms of resident assistance payments (ex. Section 8, Los Angeles County COVID-19 Rent Relief assistance, or other resident assistance programs)
