Business License Renewal

New businesses are processed by the Planning Department.

Business licenses are renewed annually on the anniversary date. Businesses are licensed and renewed at varying fixed or gross receipts based tax rates. Many businesses are licensed at an annual tax rate of $177 plus $3 per employee. Residential rental properties are licensed at $12 per unit. The business license tax rates are generally adjusted annually on July 1st based on the increase in the Consumer Price Index.
