2020 Version of State of the City Program

The traditional in-person State of the City event will not take place this year. However, a video presentation of Bellflower’s annual State of the City will be available for viewing beginning Thursday, October 1st.

Mayor Juan Garza leads the presentation and remains optimistic that “Despite the fact that 2020 has been so challenging in our nation and here in our City, I have seen some amazing progress and our community truly come together. This is really no surprise because if there’s one thing we have all known, it is that our Bellflower community is resilient.”

We are proud to share this modified presentation that highlights Bellflower’s current State of the City, what we have accomplished in 2020, and what we have to look forward to in the future.

Find the video link HERE beginning October 1st, or view the presentation prior to the airing of City Council Meetings on Spectrum Cable TV Channel 36 (PEG). Meetings air on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., and on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m., as well as on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m.
