Volunteer on Patrol Program

Did you know Lakewood Sheriff’s Station has a Volunteer on Patrol Program?

This program services the following cities: Lakewood, Bellflower, Paramount, Artesia, and Hawaiian Gardens. During this past year of uncertainty,  our community has come together stronger than ever. Lakewood Sheriff's Station is extending the opportunity for Bellflower residents to apply for the Volunteer on Patrol position. As things begin to resume normal operations, the Lakewood Station Volunteer on Patrol program will also recommence.

Volunteers on Patrol assist with the daily functions of running a patrol station. Volunteers patrol the streets and are the eyes and ears for Lakewood Sheriff’s Station. They do a multitude of things including, traffic control, routine patrols, special events, and more.

If you are interested in volunteering, visit LASD Lakewood Station and scroll down to Volunteer Application. Please fill out the application and bring it in to the station. Once the application is received, you will be placed on a list pending a background check. For further questions you may contact the Volunteer coordinators, Deputy Ramirez and Deputy Williams at 562-623-3500.
