Boards Committees & Commissions

Residents from all walks of life serve on the City’s commissions, committees, and boards. Each commission plays an integral role in assisting the City Council with improving the quality of life for its residents, providing public services, and responding to the community's needs. Commissioners must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment, and a resident of Bellflower. Planning Commissioners also have to be qualified electors of the City of Bellflower. All commissioners are also subject to the City's Code of Conduct and the Political Reform Act, which requires the filing of Statements of Economic Interests.
